NACC Attack
Over the last while I have looked forward to receiving Fellowship Magazine and Fellowship Connections. I feel that these publications have helped to build bridges of understanding in our church, and for that I am grateful.
However I was quite taken aback by the June issue (Fellowship Connections) which contained the "NACC Attack" on the Song of Faith.
I have been part of two study groups that have reflected on A Song of Faith with much joy and appreciation-and yes, some criticism. Personally I would characterize it as a statement written in the spirit of "seeking justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God."
I would hope that rather than trying to get the statement set aside
because certain words don't appear in the document that the NACC folks would enter into the wrestling with what it means to articulate the
Christian faith in this present time.

Upholding the faith
Your Volume 25 of Fellowship Magazine arrived a few days ago. What an interesting and informative magazine it is! I wish to thank Rev Dr Diane Walker, the staff and contributing writers and all who made it possible. I look forward to the day when it becomes monthly. Thank you for upholding the teachings of our church which was founded in 1925. Thanks for all you are doing to uphold the faith.
